Visualize Inc is currently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer or Firmware Engineer.
Requirements:
- BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in firmware or embedded systems development
- Proficient in C and assembly programming
- Self motivated, Self starting, detailed oriented, and life-long learner
- Common sense and curiosity with respect to software and electronic design
- Familiar with source control methods and able to work with complex source code bases
- Experience using laboratory equipment to aid in development and debugging
- Electronic digital/analog hardware design knowledge
- Familiar with different microcontroller architectures (ARM, AVR, PIC, 8051)
- Familiar with RTOS/embedded OS architectures and their principles
- Familiar with embedded multimedia(audio and video) integration and implementation
- Firm grasp of hardware and software for networking over WiFi and Ethernet
- Working knowledge of HDL
- Passion for building and developing gadgets from time of power applied to user interface
- Electronic enthusiast who enjoys working with a wide variety of technologies
